A month ago, we attended the Urban Mobility conference organized by Rushlight Events and attended by key players in the transport sector. We know that companies in this sector are already using Bayesian Optimisation, and urban mobility is continuing to generate bigger data problems than ever before – ones that PolyChord is well-suited to handle. It was extremely exciting for us to attend a conference bringing together technology developers, investors, financiers and cleantech companies with a view to tackling the global carbon emissions crisis.
We are particularly enthused about conversations had with progressive, ecologically minded innovators working to create “green” road vehicles to support transition from water to road transport seamlessly. We also met with senior figures inside TFL and other government-based programs helping to deliver Intelligent Mobility here in the UK. Through a new collaboration, we hope that soon we will have a new project on the go, one where we can apply our tool to complex optimization problems in Mobility – here’s to UK innovation in the transport industry! We at PolyChord are particularly grateful to Smith & Williamson and Rushlight Events for organizing the event and were honoured to speak to companies with such radical and pioneering attitudes to Transport and green energy.
